Belinda & David’s Wedding

Imagine our surprise when the monsoon stopped long enough for us to have the ceremony and formal portraits outside! The bottom of Belinda’s dress and veil were soaked, but she took it in stride- draped it over her shoulder and just kept right on trucking. Not minutes after they were introduced for the reception the downpour started up again. It didn’t, however, phase the kiddos. They were having a ball on the dance floor and getting their pictures taken.

These two (Belinda’s nephew is on the far left) really loved seeing themselves on camera and I couldn’t resist playing along!

Jennifer & Marc’s Wedding

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my awesome door holder, Bryson, for making the following possible:

I love when the bride & groom meet beforehand. I love their reactions. I love watching the reactions of the family. I love having a tissue handy.

Chelsea & Dane’s Wedding

When I edit photos, I usually have some music playing in my head. Many times, a picture reminds me of a song that was played at the wedding or I see a facial expression that triggers some song in my head. As I went through Chelsea’s posed pictures, I really noticed the faces in those pictures. There was so much emotion in her mom’s face and in her dad’s face. You can see the tears glimmering in Chelsea’s eyes during that set. Then I moved on to pictures of her and Dane outside. They are just dancing around, being silly. And all I could hear was “This much I know is true. That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you”. Honestly, I don’t remember if the DJ played that song that night, but that’s the song I hear when I see Chelsea and Dane together in those photos.

I don’t have any silly words tonight my friends, just a big smile and a song stuck in my head:)
