The last 4 days in pictures.

I’ve been holding Colin hostage since last Thursday installing wood flooring in the studio rooms. No, I haven’t taken a picture of him working because I think he would launch a nail at my head.

This one from his wedding in March will have to do until I sneak up there with the camera ninja-stealth-style.

Carie set the silly tone on Friday, when she came by to give me a bobble head gnome. We have since aptly named him Bobbles. Apparently my creative genes do not span to gnome naming.

Surprise! I was actually wearing a gnome shirt (I swear I have never bought a single gnome item except for that first statue!):

On Sunday, Julie & Eric, Hannah, Heather and Kelsey came to visit. It looks like Julie is unimpressed with the flowers on the wall and Eric looks scared of them.

Hannah started finger painting and singing “the flowers must die”.

Kelsey, Hannah and I are covered in paint at this point.

I should also mention that Kelsey got me a rocking damask cover for my director’s chair. She got Nathan a much manlier gift- batteries.

At some point, Nancy & James were there, but it has really all started to blur together. I think it might have been Saturday because you can see the first chunk of the flooring has been installed.

Julie & Eric’s wedding published!

How exciting! A 3-page spread in the The Knot Texas Magazine (Spring/Summer 08)!

You know what else is exciting? Figuring how to scan the gnome in at the same time as the cover!
