Remember when Grant could barely hold his head up at 4 months old? Or when he was a little rolly polly crawler at the 8 month mark? Well, at just a little over the age of one, he is a walking machine!
We had our session in the studio and Alicia & Collin brought in some props to tie in all three portrait sessions, which I loved!
My wonderful friends Erinn & Charles came into town last week for their baby shower and I was able to snag them before the weekend’s madness began. They had two baby showers to attend that weekend as well as seeing a slew of old friends. I was gearing up for two weddings and a bridal session myself so I was pleased as punch to be able to shoot them on Thursday afternoon. It’s no secret that I shot primarily weddings but I couldn’t resist getting some shots of them together in some beautiful Texas sunlight. I will be visiting them in California in late May and we are hoping that Sloan will decide to make her appearance while I am there 
I don’t exactly have a category on my blog for head shots, so Kelsey can just blaze her own path There are so many things I can tell you about Kelsey, but I think she can’t be summed up in words. Like me, she requires a sound – even perhaps a song. And I believe her song would with “Na, Na, Na, Na” because that would be soooo Kelsey.
Ridiculous sunsets? I haz dem.

We caught up with the Williams family for portraits at their lake house earlier this month. I had never met a single one of them yet Vivian and I found them in jolly spirits when we arrived. Actually, they were just a pleasure to shoot, sarcastic and joking through the whole thing. We were even blessed with a lovely sunlight day and a gentle breeze. It was ridiculously perfect and oodles of fun. We have tough lives as photographers, let me tell you!
Heather brought in her siblings to do a holiday portrait session in December. It gave me a little taste of what her wedding day will be like. Insane. Fun. Ridiculous.
