Behlen family

For Christmas, the Behlen kids gifted their mother with some holiday portraits. However, naughty weather and crazy work schedules prevented us from shooting until a few months into 2010. I’ve known Carla for years so it was great to meet her husband, brother in law and mother in law after all the wonderful things that I have heard about them! So here we finally were, 30 minutes of silliness and smiling!

Grant’s 1st birthday

Remember when Grant could barely hold his head up at 4 months old? Or when he was a little rolly polly crawler at the 8 month mark? Well, at just a little over the age of one, he is a walking machine!
We had our session in the studio and Alicia & Collin brought in some props to tie in all three portrait sessions, which I loved!
Erinn & Charles, expecting

My wonderful friends Erinn & Charles came into town last week for their baby shower and I was able to snag them before the weekend’s madness began. They had two baby showers to attend that weekend as well as seeing a slew of old friends. I was gearing up for two weddings and a bridal session myself so I was pleased as punch to be able to shoot them on Thursday afternoon. It’s no secret that I shot primarily weddings but I couldn’t resist getting some shots of them together in some beautiful Texas sunlight. I will be visiting them in California in late May and we are hoping that Sloan will decide to make her appearance while I am there
