I couldn’t *LOVE* their last name any more 
There’s nothing like getting a change to spend the afternoon with some of my favorite people. Huggies & smoochies, my darlings!
We started off slow while I was setting up. I said no shoe shots, but I really enjoyed the look of all of them on the bench talking so I shot the shoes anyway

Grant has grown a lot since our family portraits 4 months ago. He’s now sitting on his own and a very mobile crawler! One thing hasn’t changed : happy baby. And there’s nothing I love more than a happy baby!
Side note: Vivie assisted me. Or should I say Miss Baaaaa assisted me? As in,
Me: “Vivie, can you get Grant’s attention”
Vivie: “Baaaaaa”
The rain did not go away but I really don’t think Carolyn noticed and if she did, she didn’t show it. She & Henry were all smiles for their Big Reveal and throughout the entire wedding day. I played a little bit of hide- my-camera-from-the-rain and I found my ‘just in case’ umbrellas to be were very, very handy.
I can’t say much about the day without completely gushing. Everything went so swimmingly, just as planned – which is an utter rarity in my world, as you can imagine. If you haven’t heard, I *pink puffy heart and big smooches* love shooting at The Modern and it’s not only the candied bacon that draws me there
And while I’m sending out pink puffy heart love, here’s oodles to Henry & Carolyn, who are now living in Dublin! It was so great to meet you guys and get to know you before you left

Behold Creme de la Creme’s yummies …
See – yum, cake. Carolyn’s brother got them this gorgeous cake cutter so they wanted a picture of all of them (and the cake cutter together). I joked”wanna lick it?” Her brother obliged.
Henry’s family has a Hokey Pokey tradition. EVERYONE got into it.
And then everyone danced, danced, danced.
Er, wormed.
This, my friends is a true Nom. Nom. Thank you, sir, for demonstrating.

Who arrived to the reception at the same as their guests? These two did! Carolyn & Henry’s Big Reveal was before the wedding ceremony took place so we smacked out formal pictures and got out tushie’s dancing right after they said I do!
I thoroughly enjoyed the “who could that be?” face.
Carolyn is SO excited.
