Conor & Beckett’s 1st birthday party!

Today’s adventure takes place at Gymboree in Southlake: Conor & Beckett’s first birthday party. The crazy thing is that I knew most of the kiddos at the party. Many of the moms got married around the same time I did and we belonged to Knottie/Nestie/Nuttie wedding cult together.
More pictures will trickle in as I get mommy approvals to post them, so keep a tab on this one. It’s super cute, colorful, fun, sticky, snooty, drooley fun….

I’d like to send out a big shout out to my bride Tina Juarez, who ran the Rock-N-Roll Marathon in Phoenix on January 13, 2008!
After Tina & Rick’s wedding in August of 2006, I remember all of sitting on the deck of Maple Manor talking about the future. We spoke of what we could do and what we would become.

I was excited to pull out some new toys for our pictures today; Teddy Ruxpin and my little vintage car. Conor didn’t need toys- he was happy to munch on mommy Heidi’s nose and feed her crackers.
Soon it was time for dessert, but Conor wasn’t into eat mushy cake. The last picture was my favorite by far and somewhere between the start and finish I had icing all over my camera & lens. MMMM cake.
