Boyd Family Portaits

Jennifer & her family can’t get enough of me – and I am not complaining.

This is the third family shoot we have done this year and each time is a bigger adventure than the previous one. The first time, I had to find them in a place that GPSes and maps could not. This time, finding them was easy. It was the ride on the Gator that challenged my camera juggling abilities.

And when the ride on the gator was complete- there I was standing in a field with horses and big fluffy clouds. I was in heaven.

My second heaven came at the end when Cayden – the cute little red head below- gave me the biggest happiest giggly smile I could have asked for.

Richae & Murph’s Wedding

Murph was a good sport through all of this. Haven’t not met me before, he had no idea what to expect. He went along with everything I requested without question, but the Gnome … well, he looked a little weary of the Gnome. His face just cracks me up in the picture above!

Thomason Family Portraits

I think all of this can be summarized with one sentence: kids warm up really quickly.

Eye Candy

Mindi Sue & Brian’s Wedding

\

I knew Mindi Sue and Brian were generous, wonderful people from the moment I met them. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Brian very much before the wedding. However, Mindi Sue, her Maid of Honor Melinda and I did have a very exciting and adventurous bridal portrait session. When I asked Mindi Sue if she liked basketball, she exclaimed “YES!” and there I was watching her play basketball in her wedding dress. And to me, that 100% sums up Mindi Sue … that moment watching her play basketball in her wedding dress.

Now Brian is a tougher cookie for me to describe. Every time I think of Brian, I see him as he smiled at Mindi Sue as she walked in to the ketubah ceremony. One huge smile, eyes focused solely on Mindie Sue.

From those two, very serious descriptions, I want to jump to the other side of Brian & Mindi Sue that I am pleased to know. The two people who ran around the Richardson Hotel with me for another hour after the reception ended. The same ones who giggled and joked the whole way through. And the nutty ones that jumped on their wedding night bed and threw rose petals at each other. And, of course, kissed the Gnome good night.
