Friday night we were walking down Bourbon Street amongst the revelers. I didn’t expect beads in the middle of the summer, but they were everywhere. What cracked me up most were the people in the backgrounds of my pictures. I sat there in hysterics as I was editing.
Saturday, we were hiking through Jackson Square waiting for Cafe Du Monde to open.
P.S., it’s not open at 8am on Saturday morning – as if anyone is up at 8am on Saturday

Sunday wedding at the Tribute. Kimberly & David. Their families and friends. Preceremony formals in the foyer. We start picking on one of the groomsmen, Ryan. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Ryan’s taking it all in stride so I take it to the next level … he’s moving a bit slowly for my taste so I tell him he’s fired as a groomsmen. He laughs it off. I actually end up firing him one more time during family pictures. Everyone thinks it’s weird but still funny and we make it through all of the formal pictures laughing.
Thursday afternoon. Vivian enters Government and Politics at UTD. Ryan waves hello.
Thursday evening. Lynn gets a facebook message from Ryan asking if he’s still fired.
He still is

Robert asked me to dance!!

Brandi and Brian trusted me and my magical mystery tour. They had no idea where I was going to take them, but they were all about the adventure. When I suggested jumping in a fountain after traipsing around in the 105 degree heat there was no opposition.
