This is Melanie seeing Hannah for the first time during Hannah’s bridal portraits.
Back story: Hannah decided to swap engagement pictures for bridals because Melanie didn’t want her picture taken. (Melanie, if you’re reading this, I’m not trying to be a meanie and point fingers, but this story gets better …).
Present day: Melanie arrived for her hair & makeup trial and as fate would have it that we were right there in the foyer shooting. I snapped a few pictures of Melanie’s reaction; trying to be all sneaky just in case Melanie was going to come after me. But she didn’t. A good sign!
Later that day: After we had completed Hannah’s bridals, we went to meet Melanie, whose trial was near completion. Melanie didn’t find it strange that I was still hanging around which was good. I waited until Hannah whispered “a few pictures together?” and I watched Melanie’s reaction until she happily nodded yes. YES!!!
