Merry Holidays!

You see, my husband was not prepared for marrying a photographer. He didn’t know that every event necessitated a picture. (And really, if I had my way every day would be an event, but I digress…)

This is our second Christmas as a married couple, so I am marking it with an ornament … and a picture of us putting it on the tree. Notice the picture above. My face says “yay, this is so cute, I can’t wait to scrapbook this picture!” His face says: “I’m only humoring this woman and I have a feeling this picture is going to find its way to her blog”. Ah, he knows me well.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Lynn Michelle Photography!

Kim & Tanner’s Engagement Pictures

It was us against the sun. We had exactly 15 minutes until total darkness. Sit, pose, smile, click, repeat. We actually had a great time and we were very lucky that the day ended up being warm because the drill would have been: sit, shiver, pose, shiver, smile, shiver, click, repeat. Gotta love Texas winters!

Gnomey got frisky with Kim:) Bad Gnome. No cookie.

Megan’s Senior Portraits

Ladies and gentleman, I formally introduce you to Gnomey. That’s right, Gnomey the Gnome. I think a formal introduction is just the thing he needs so that I don’t get that raised eyebrow every time I ask “so, how do you feel about gnomes?”.

Megan wished him good luck on his journey! He had just returned from Lindsay and Aaron’s wedding where he had just frolicked through the land of pink shoe laces.

Lindsay & Aaron’s Wedding

What do you get when you have pink shoelaces, blue crystal-y shoes and a gnome? A must-take picture, of course! There was no way Gnomey was walking out of that reception without a picture. Come on! Pink shoelaces! I couldn’t resist!

Alicia, Bridals

Alicia is just a flirt and I knew that coming in! (See the engagement post below- I can prove it!) And who would have thought that it was going to be 80 degrees in December? We were all to happy to welcome the sun and the warm weather, especially since we had had to postone from last weekend due to the rain. Now that she and Mr Collin have tied the knot, I can share my first official Gnome picture!
