Happy Halloween!

Dearest husband,

Never challenge me to make a particular costume. I will do it AND I will do a fantastic job.

Signed,
Your darling wife

… and thus began the story of Lynn and the garden gnome.
YOU REALLY WANT TO STAY TUNED FOR THIS ONE!!!!

furry creatures and engagements, o my!

Today we had the trifecta of portrait sessions. Or the “motherload”, if you will.

I started with Molly, who after about an hour, I was able to tucker out and almost put to sleep. I must be entertaining:)

After a shot of Dr Pepper, I tackled Ellen and Jay. They were way too easy, which made me think I didn’t need the DP kick after all. Of course, they did GIGGLE through the whole thing … *geez* ;)

I rounded out my day with Megan & Matt. Now, doesn’t that just flow off the tongue: “Megan & Matt”. Makes me want to say it all sultry too … Megan and Matt … Megan and Matt. Ya, ok, this was 2 Dr Peppers later. Sue Me. These too were pretty mushy, but I did pry them apart long enough to get a few smiles.

Vendors galore!

The *fantastic* singer at Karen & Bart’s wedding prompted me to update my favorite vendors lists. Link can be found to the left.

Joana & Brad, Portraits

I sooooo should have known what to expect with these two. I should have at least known that Joana was going to be silly. But she one upped me. She giggled the whole time. Nothing like a giggly Joana to try to tame.

And, Joana, since I know you are reading this, I have been very careful not to drop two n’s in your name. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s a private joke between the two of us, so if you just formed a question mark above your head, no worries we are just an odd pair together. We photograph together often, but we leave the giggles at home. Except for portrait sessions, that is! *Glares at Joana & Brad*

But hey, if you aren’t having fun then why bother, right?

Jennie & Larry’s Wedding

I ENJOYED the Captain America figures more than I should have. We had a nice thing going – he stood there looking powerful and balancing the ring while I backed up and snapped away. It was our little bonding moment.

Jennie is full of spirit, she had her hips out and her arms poised for the next shot. I did not know that was coming! We had a blast joking around before the ceremony, she was just enjoying the whole thing and I felt like she’d known me forever.

Enough sappiness, I’m going to go see what Captain America is up to. Tee hee.
