Sara & Graham’s Wedding

Perhaps I need a disclaimer that reads “results may vary”. But holey shoot, I just edited over two thousand photographs. Um, that’s 2000 ladies and gentlemen. I think my camera is smoking like my old car used to do on those hot summer days. You know what I’m talking about, the little engine temperature gauge starts heading towards the “H” and you freak out as your engine starts to smoke.

Ok, not smoke, but I went through a couple of flash cards, as you might imagine. And I think you will all be happy to know that we didn’t actually light anything on fire this time around (well, not anything that wasn’t supposed to be on fire!)

Now, it’s time to upload pictures!! Thank God for high-speed internet!

Liz & Lee’s Wedding

The setting was the VERY beautiful Fort Worth Botanical Garden. The ceremony blew me away. I don’t even have any words to express it or explain it. So while I have been left speechless for the second time in my life, I’ve also been left un-funny. And an un-funny Lynn has the tendancy to bore herself.

But I will have to say that they had the best cake fight EVER. And it’s not a good cake fight unless the bride is using the cake knife to get cake out of her nose. ‘Nuff said.

Fantastic Weekend!

I was off this weekend to enjoy some time with my family and to celebrate my birthday. I love that everyone thinks that I am still 16; just wondering how long I can get away with this!

Friday’s schedule included a fantastic dinner at the Melting Pot in Addison with my sister and my husband.

Not much to say about Saturday, except:

Chelsea’s Bridals

Chelsea reminded me of Jessica Rabbit with the way she played up to the camera. She had the pouty lips and the sensual look down. She wasn’t too surprised when I jokingly started calling her Jess; I guess she has already admitted to herself that I am insane. Speaking of insane, she had the pleasure of witnessing my version of the Monty Python “Ministry of Funny Walks” skit AND she knew what I was talking about.

This time around, we caught a break with the light breeze and ONLY 96 degrees. Looks like the heat is subsided ladies and gentleman — we made it out of there without sweat running down our whole body. Makes you want to say “yummy”, right?

This one was too easy, which makes me fear tomorrow!
